 Robert H. Hacker

Robert H. Hacker has over 30 years of financial and operating management experience in the U.S. and internationally. He has served as a CFO and COO for 14 years and provided strategy consulting to Fortune 500 companies in Asia for 10 years. He is the former Vice Chairman, CFO and Board member of a publicly traded $1 billion Asian company and has also served as the CFO of 2 private companies. He has extensive experience with high growth companies and turnarounds.

He has raised over $1 billion in capital during his career, including pre-IPO venture capital, subordinated debt, convertible bonds, 144a public debt issues, borrowing base financings and bank financing and has worked with private equity groups on three transactions. He has arranged one IPO and three secondary equity offerings in public markets.

Mr. Hacker is currently a Managing Director with Vaupen Financial Advisors in Miami where he specializes in arranging mezzanine debt and equity financings for high technology companies. Client companies are located in the southeast U.S., the Caribbean and Latin America.

Mr. Hacker has wide ranging industry experience, including telecommunications, Internet, computer software and services, retailing, fashion & beauty, franchising and mining. He has worked in Puerto Rico, Peru, Mexico, Japan and Indonesia and speaks Spanish. He has an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.
